Imposter syndrome
Always feel like I'm not good enough. I've been a nurse for two years but I'm constantly second-guessing myself. Does this ever go away?

This imposter syndrome is crippling me. I feel like I'm drowning, like everyone is expecting me to know all the answers. Other new grads, how do you cope?
Worked my third holiday this year. Missed my daughter's recital yesterday. The money's not worth it anymore. How are you all managing the guilt and exhaustion that comes with shift work?
Just been ghosted by yet another recruiter. Is it always like this or am I just unlucky? How do you guys deal with it?
Another year, another Thanksgiving spent at the hospital. Anyone else feeling the holiday guilt for not being with family? How do you shake it off?
Land a call, have a chat, everything seems great. Then they drop off the face of the earth. What's up with that? Anyone have any similar experiences?
Just spent my lunch break in tears. It's been a brutal week and I'm burnt to a crisp. It's a daily struggle to keep it all together. Anyone else feel like they're walking on a tightrope?
My feet are killing me. On tonight's shift, we were understaffed. Again. And I was floating between two units. Again. When will they realize we can't do everything?
Anyone else dealing with resentment from staff nurses? I'm a travel RN and I swear it's like high school all over again. I am here to help, not steal your job.
They allure you with the money but no one talks about the resentment from staff nurses or having to prove yourself at every new gig. I'm seriously thinking about going back to a permanent role. Anyone else feel this way?
hey cool stuff
hey what up
Just found out the new grad working nights on my unit is making more than me. And I've been on this floor for 6 years. Who’s idea was this? Honestly, I'm seething right now. Anyone else discovered something similar and what did you do?
It's similar to running on fumes. A 12-hour shift feels like eternity and we still can't catch our breath. What's happening with these staffing ratios? Went from 1:4 to 1:6. It's disheartening and not fair. If the suits in management had to do a shift with this ratio, they'd probably drop. Wonder how others are coping with this.
Looking good
hey what up
4/5 stars - It's okay. Some good days, some tough days. Depends a lot on which unit you're on. Some managers are great, others not so much. Decent benefits.

Candidate4/5 stars - Outstanding place to work. The team is like family, management is approachable, and they invest in staff development. Great pay and benefits too.
2/5 stars - Very disappointing. Poor management, inadequate support, and unsafe working conditions. They don't value their staff. Many better options out there.
