Got to Love the Closet Tears
Had one of those shifts today where everything that could possibly go wrong did. Second guessing every decision I made, feeling like an imposter. Ended up crying in the supply closet. Again. Does that ever stop? How do you all deal with the self-doubt and stress?
Oh sweetheart, we've all been there. Sometimes you've got to let the tears out to make space for more strength.
Don't let the shift's chaos define your expertise or doubt your ability. It's just one of those days, they come and go.
It's seriously about time hospitals start addressing this. Nurses are humans, not robots. When are they going to realize that and give us some real emotional support?
