Haunted by Night Shift
Two nights into my first-ever night shift streak and I’m already losing my mind. Sleep during the day? Yeah, right. By the time I got home, my neighbor was mowing his lawn, kids were playing outside, and the sun showed no mercy. All I want is my bed and a solid, uninterrupted 7 hours of sleep. How do you guys manage this? Blackout curtains? Sleep masks? Sleeping pills? Hell, I'm even willing to try that meditation stuff at this point.
Been there. Blackout curtains are a lifesaver. Invest in a good pair.
Honestly, I lean more towards natural remedies. Chamomile tea and lavender essential oils work like magic for me.
What works for some might not work for others. Have you considered talking to a sleep specialist?
