Struggle is real
I am a new grad and let me tell you...imposter syndrome is hitting hard. Every time there's a new skill or procedure I haven't done before, I feel like a fraud. Like any minute they'll realize I'm not cut out for this. Did all of you experienced nurses feel like this when you started? When does it get better?
Have you considered getting a mentor? Might help you navigate those rough waters.
I remember feeling like I was drowning for the first six months. It became manageable after that. You'll find your rhythm too.
The feeling never completely goes away. It just changes shape and becomes less intense. You're doing great, just keep going.
