Newbie on the block
Started my first job as a nurse this week. You would think that 4 years of nursing school would have prepared me, but boy was I wrong. I swear, everyday feels like I'm on an episode of Grey's Anatomy without the drama. It's the overwhelming feeling of the unknown that gets me. Do all new nurses go through this feeling of doubt? Does it get better?
Welcome to the club! Remember, it's a learning curve for all of us, even decades in.
First nursing job was like stepping into a war zone for me. You'll find your way. Give it time.
Been there, honey. Just breathe and remember your ABCs. It gets better, promise.
