Got a job offer. 2 hours away, but the pay's good. It's a smaller hospital, so less resources, fewer colleagues. I'll be on nights for at least a year, maybe more. The reviews online aren't that great, but the pay's tempting. What do you think? Would you take it?
I'd say go for it. Nights can be rough, but the pay bump might make it worth it.
I've worked at a small hospital before. Fewer resources can actually mean more autonomy, which I really enjoyed.
2 hours commute both ways, right? Think about wear and tear on your car and on you. Doesn't sound sustainable to me.
