Have you ever been ghosted?
Nothing gets me as ticked off as this. Finalizing shifts with a recruiter at a reputable agency, and then boom! Nothing after that. No call, no email, and they've utterly refused to pick up their phone or respond to my emails. Feels weirdly personal, like I did something wrong. But that's the game, isn't it? Anyone else got ghosted like that?
Been on that ship too many times. It's disrespectful, but sadly part of the biz.
You sure you didn't miss any red flags during the initial conversations? Sometimes recruiters ghost candidates if they see something that concerns them.
I remember one agency did that to me, and turned out they were having internal problems. Maybe it's not about you, but them. Still, it's unprofessional.
