Lowball Offers, High Expectations
The offers from recruiters are getting ridiculous. Talking about competitive rates, and then it's all numbers that you'd laugh at if you weren't so tired. They act like we're doing them a favor working around the clock, risking our lives. And they throw some lowball numbers and expect us to be grateful. Anyone else had enough of this?
Totally understand your frustration. But remember, it's not the recruiters, it's the healthcare system that's to blame.
Same here, buddy. I worked in ICU during the height of the pandemic and the 'competitive' rate they offered me was laughable.
Are there any tips for negotiating better rates? Or do we just grin and bear it?
