Travel Nurse Money
Just floated to another unit today and got talking with a travel nurse. She's making nearly twice as much as me. Stings when I'm working my butt off and struggling to pay rent while she's talking about her next vacation. Don't get me wrong. I know travel nurses have their own issues. But the pay difference is hard to swallow. How do you guys deal with this?
Remember, you're seeing the upside but not the sacrifices. The constant moving, saying goodbye to friends, it's not all rosy.
Do you have the flexibility to do travel nursing? Maybe worth exploring if the money's a big issue for you.
Been a travel nurse for 8 yrs now. It's a rough road. The extra cash is compensation for the instability.
