Travel nursing thoughts
Been seriously considering jumping into travel nursing lately. The money's tempting, won't lie about that. But then there's staff resentment, adjusting to unfamiliar units, and the whole contract thing. Part of me is excited by the adventure, the other part is scared as hell. Has anyone done this? Did it work out? Or was it a disaster?
I've been there. Travel nursing is definitely a roller coaster ride. It's not for everyone but it sure tests your adaptability.
Jumped ship into travel nursing two years back. Best decision I ever made. You adapt to new units faster than you'd think.
If you're doing it just for the money, think twice. It's stressful, and sometimes, the high pay doesn't compensate for everything else. What's your main motivation apart from the cash?
