Night shift woes
Just got off another night shift. I swear my body just won't adjust. I'm walking around like a zombie and my family is starting to worry. Anyone have any tips for shifting your sleep schedule? I'm desperate here.
Try splitting sleep into two blocks. I sleep for a few hours before and after my shift. Not ideal, but helped me adjust.
Ugh, night shift. The eternal struggle. I've always found exercise, a hefty dose of caffeine, and sheer willpower are my best allies.
Are you eating q4h? Helps keep your circadian rhythm on track, even if it's middle of the night. Not a cure all, but it helps.
