Newbies Vs. Veterans
Lately, it seems the gap between us old-timers and the new grads is wider than ever. It's draining to cover their inexperience and still handle my own load. But then I remember, I was green and scared once. And who helped me? Yeah, the 'old-timers.' Mixed feelings over here, anyone else?
Honestly, this is the cycle. We were once them, they'll be us. Rinse and repeat.
I actually find the energy of the new grads refreshing. Yes, there's a learning curve, but isn't that part of our job? To guide and teach?
