Promise Broken
Just came to know, the new grad on our unit is making more than me. Really? This feels like such a slap in the face. They don't understand pressure or responsibility. Yet, they're making more than someone who's been doing this for years? This isn't right. Do you guys know what you're worth? Should I confront HR about it?
Been there, done that. It's hard not to feel slighted.
Are you certain it's not a case of wage compression? It's a common issue in nursing.
