Travel nursing: blessing or curse?
Travel nursing. You hear a lot about it lately. The big bucks. The freedom. But how many of you have had to pick up the slack for a traveler who seems to think they're on vacation? Don't get me wrong, I've worked with some outstanding travelers. But the bad ones... Man, they make it hard for the rest of us. Always on their phone, disappearing when things get tough. Is it just my hospital, or is this a common problem? Wondering if the good paycheck is worth it if the team's morale goes down the drain.

I've met some fantastic travelers who were team players. I think it depends on the individual, not the profession.
