Are My Tears Sterile?
Just finished a 14-hour shift again. Cried in the supply closet for the third time this week. It's a little ironic. Here I am, surrounded by sterile gloves and gauze, and I can't stop my eyes from leaking. How do you all cope with the burnout? I could really use some advice right now.
Honestly, I've been there. Maybe you need a change of scenery. Have you considered switching to a different department or hospital?
