The real cost of shift work

Worked my third holiday this year. Missed my daughter's recital yesterday. The money's not worth it anymore. How are you all managing the guilt and exhaustion that comes with shift work?

I don't think the guilt ever truly goes away... we just learn to manage and balance better.
